LaRoe’s Poppyseed Dressing was a signature dressing for the last 46 years at LaRoe’s Restaurant in Grand Rapids, Ohio. One of the most popular salads was the Salmon Salad, Norwegian Lemon Peppered Salmon on a bed of romaine and spinach mixed with fresh strawberries and blueberries then topped off with LaRoe’s Poppyseed Dressing. Through the years customers always asked if I was ever going to bottle it and finally I did after winning the Product Development Award at the Center of Innovative Food Technology.

Nestled in the heart of the scenic river town of Grand Rapids, Ohio was LaRoe’s Restaurant where our Hot Spiced Wine was a tradition for 46 years. In 2022 I finally obtained the licenses required to bottle our Hot Spiced Wine and sell it retail and by mail order. Warm a mug of Spiced Wine and orange peel while enjoying time with family and friends. It soon will be one of your favorite traditions!
